Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ashiana Housing, Pressman Advertisin, IZMO, Nucleus Soft and Centum Elec, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 38.1 points to 18572.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Goenka Diamond, Bombay Metrics Suppl, Gayatri Project, Sintex Plastics Tech and ARSS Infra, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital, Divis Labs, HUL, Asian Paints and Bajaj Auto were among top gainers, while Coal India Ltd, Kotak Bank, Bharti Airtel, Maruti Suzuki and Britannia traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 116.29 points up at 62738.53 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Trading, Cables, Packaging, Telecommunications and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was visible in Real Estate, Mining, Media & Entertainment, Holding Company and Airlines sectors.
