Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Nucleus Soft, Centum Elec, Ahluwalia Contr, Hercules Hoists and Systango Technologie, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:06AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 123.75 points to 18623.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Sanwaria Consumer, Gammon Infra, BKM Industries, Goenka Diamond and Setubandhan Infra, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 38 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank, ITC and HDFC were among top gainers, while ONGC, Sun Pharma, Divis Labs, HCL Tech and Maruti Suzuki traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 460.36 points up at 62962.05 at 11:06AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Term Lending Institutions, Learning & Education, Tobacco and Trading sectors, while selling was visible in Infrastructure, Media & Entertainment, Tyres, Industrial Equipment and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
