Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Vesuvius India, Repro India, DJ Mediaprint & Logi, Themis Medicare and Sotac Pharmaceutical, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:35AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 21.25 points to 18377.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as SITI Networks, PVR, A G Universal, SEL Manufact and Sumitomo Chemical, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, ONGC, Bajaj Finance, BPCL and Infosys were among top gainers, while HDFC, HDFC Bank, M&M, L&T and Maruti Suzuki traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 92.08 points down at 62253.63 at 10:35AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Plastics, Cables, Tourism & Hospitality and Defence sectors, while selling was visible in Media & Entertainment, IT Enabled Services, General, Construction and Tobacco sectors.
