Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Naga Dhunseri Group, Pattech Fitwell Tube, Ador Welding, Sonam Clock and Zensar Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:40AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 26.95 points to 18270.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as SITI Networks, De Neers Tools, Innovative Tyres & T, SEL Manufact and BEML Land Assets, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 19 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors, Axis Bank and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers, while BPCL, Hindalco, Divis Labs, Power Grid and Dr. Reddys traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 74.98 points down at 61829.54 at 10:40AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Learning & Education, Hospitals & Allied Services and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was visible in Media & Entertainment, Metals - Non Ferrous, Defence, Gas & Petroleum and Power sectors.
