Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Krishna Defence and Allied Industries Ltd., Infinium Pharmachem, Kilitch Drug, Sunflag Iron and Lead Reclaim and Rubber Products Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:12AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 18.25 points to 18247.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Cyber Media Research & Services Ltd., Vasa Retail & Overse, Innovative Tyres & T, Coastal Corp(PP)and SEL Manufact, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 21 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, IndusInd Bank, ONGC, Britannia and Power Grid were among top gainers, while UPL, Dr. Reddys, SBI, Tata Steel and NTPC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 71.74 points down at 61689.59 at 11:12AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, IT - Hardware, Agro Processing, Apparels and Airlines sectors, while selling was visible in Irrigation & Allied Services, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Media & Entertainment, Term Lending Institutions and General sectors.
