Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Inox Wind Energy Ltd., HSIL, Jai Balaji Inds, Lokesh Machines and Kirloskar Elec, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:22AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 161.45 points to 18230.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Rajvir Ind, Virinchi, Aditya Birla Retail, Sadhana Nitro and Avalon Technologies, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 40 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finserv and ONGC were among top gainers, while Coal India Ltd, Adani Ent., L&T, Dr. Reddys and Sun Pharma traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 594.73 points up at 61649.02 at 11:22AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Real Estate, NBFC, Auto and Cables sectors, while selling was visible in Mining, Media & Entertainment, Rubber, Agro Processing and Construction sectors.
