Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Kirloskar Pneumatic, Barak Valley, RS Software, Saksoft Ltd and Peninsula Land, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kirloskar Pneumatic, Barak Valley, RS Software, Saksoft Ltd and Peninsula Land, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 44.35 points up at 17813.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as ASL Industries, Aavas Financiers, Ipca Labs, Brightcom Group and BEML Land Assets, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 34 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, Nestle India, Tata Consumer, IndusInd Bank and L&T were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, Adani Ports SEZ, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finserv and NTPC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 169.87 points up at 60300.58.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Glass, Fertilisers and Tea / Coffee sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT - Hardware, Media & Entertainment, Irrigation & Allied Services, Agro Processing and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors during the day.
