Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of TECIL Chemicals & Hydro Power Ltd., Royal Orchid, Kirloskar Elec, Shera Energy Ltd. and SML Isuzu, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 5.7 points up at 17624.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as IL&FS Invest, Optiemus Infra, BEML Land Assets, Genesys Intnl and VELS Film Internatio, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 26 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, NTPC, Asian Paints, Adani Ports SEZ and Bajaj Auto were among top gainers during the day, while Apollo Hospital, Hero MotoCorp, M&M, Tech Mahindra and UltraTech Cem. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 64.55 points up at 59632.35.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Apparels, Leather, Trading and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in General, Power, Rubber, Real Estate and Retail sectors during the day.
