Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of De Nora India, Vardhman Poly, Touchwood Entertainm, Gretex Industries and Grauer & Weil, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 15.6 points up at 17828.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Lorenzini Apparels, Nirman Agri Genetics, Seya Industries, SVP Global and Vikas Multicorp, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Life, Eicher Motors, Apollo Hospital and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, TCS and NTPC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 38.23 points up at 60431.0.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Industrial Equipment, Metals - Non Ferrous and Banks sectors, while selling was witnessed in Infrastructure, Plastics, Media & Entertainment, IT - Hardware and IT Software sectors during the day.
