Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of IZMO, Sterling Tools, Cyient, Nagreeka Capital and Binani Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 131.85 points down at 16945.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Cybertech Sys, Quadpro ITeS Ltd., Jet Knitwears, Puravankara and Setco Automotive, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 10 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Kotak Bank, Infosys, Dr. Reddys and Apollo Hospital were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Adani Ent., Tata Steel and Hindalco ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 398.18 points down at 57527.1.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, IT - Hardware, Power, Industrial Equipment and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Plastics, Media & Entertainment and Textiles sectors during the day.
