Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Tarmat Ltd, Zen Tech, KPIT Tech, Sona Hi Sona Jewell and W S Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 114.45 points up at 17100.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Kridhan Infra, Biocon, Future Consumer, Ballarpur Inds. and Mega Flex Plastics Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 37 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, Hindalco, UPL, UltraTech Cem. and Nestle India were among top gainers during the day, while Eicher Motors, ITC, NTPC, Maruti Suzuki and Power Grid ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 355.06 points up at 57989.9.

Traders piled up positions in Paper, Irrigation & Allied Services, Real Estate, Telecommunications and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Plastics, Media & Entertainment and Agro Processing sectors during the day.
