Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sona Hi Sona Jewell, Binani Ind, Tarmat Ltd, Kamat Hotels and Arrow Greentech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 176.7 points down at 17412.9 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Antarctica Ltd, GRM Overseas, Future Consumer, GTL Infra and Libas Designs, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 15 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, NTPC, Maruti Suzuki, Britannia and BPCL were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., HDFC Bank, Apollo Hospital, HDFC and IndusInd Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 671.15 points down at 59135.13.

Traders piled up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Power, Rubber, Telecommunications and Airlines sectors, while selling was witnessed in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Media & Entertainment, NBFC and Holding Company sectors during the day.
