Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Imagicaaworld Entert, ISMT Ltd, Finolex Cables, Manav Infra Projects and TD Power Sys, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 272.45 points up at 17594.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Shigan Quantum Technologies Ltd., Future Retail, Shreeoswal Seeds, Viaz Tyres Ltd. and Raj Oil Mills, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 42 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, SBI, Bharti Airtel and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cem., Cipla, Divis Labs and Asian Paints ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 899.62 points up at 59808.97.

Traders piled up positions in Shipping, Telecommunications, Diversified, Banks and Tobacco sectors, while selling was witnessed in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Media & Entertainment, Industrial Consumables and Textiles sectors during the day.
