Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Foseco India, Sonu Infratech Ltd., Triveni Turbine, Vera Synthetic and Abhishek Integrations Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 88.75 points down at 17303.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Share India Sec, Krebs Biochem, Future Consumer, Kridhan Infra and Rollatainers Ltd, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 16 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Asian Paints, Britannia and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Cipla, Hindalco, Dr. Reddys, ONGC and Tata Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 326.23 points down at 58962.12.

Traders piled up positions in Shipping, Holding Company, Building Materials, Consumer Durables and Glass sectors, while selling was witnessed in General, Power, Rubber, Real Estate and Retail sectors during the day.
