Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Advitiya Trade India, Majesco L(PP), Pennar Ind, Sonata Software and Cera Sanitary, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 99.6 points down at 17844.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as OrissaBengalCarrier, Arshiya, Sanwaria Consumer, Shree Ram Proteins and STL Global, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 19 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, UltraTech Cem., Tech Mahindra, Hindalco and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Cipla, Adani Ent., Britannia, BPCL and UPL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 311.03 points down at 60691.54.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Cement, Learning & Education, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals and Logistics sectors, while selling was witnessed in Petrochemicals, Infrastructure, Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Consumables and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
