Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Blue Chip India, Finolex Cables, Zen Tech, Vera Synthetic and Soma Textiles, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 86.0 points up at 18015.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Ester Ind, Kitex Garments, Ginni Filaments, Suumaya Lifestyle and Libas Designs, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tech Mahindra, Apollo Hospital, Eicher Motors, RIL and Adani Ent. were among top gainers during the day, while HUL, Sun Pharma, ITC, L&T and ONGC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 242.83 points up at 61275.09.

Traders piled up positions in Learning & Education, Hospitals & Allied Services, Packaging, Term Lending Institutions and Real Estate sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Textiles, Infrastructure, Auto Ancillaries and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
