Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Rane(Madras), Soma Textiles, Manugraph India, Surya Roshni and Spectrum Electrical, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 150.2 points up at 17871.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Ballarpur Inds., Sadbhav Infra, Barbeque-Nation Hospitality Ltd., Adani Gas and Adani Green, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, HDFC Life, Bajaj Finance and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while Power Grid, Coal India Ltd, L&T, Hero MotoCorp and Eicher Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 377.75 points up at 60663.79.

Traders piled up positions in IT - Hardware, NBFC, Chemicals, Holding Company and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Textiles, Infrastructure, Plastics and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors during the day.
