Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Aegis Logistics, Advitiya Trade India, Gravita India, Jindal Saw and Siddhika Coatings Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 44.6 points up at 17648.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Adani Green, Heranba Industries Ltd., GTL Ltd, Adani Transmission and Arihant Capital, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Bajaj Finance, UltraTech Cem., Bajaj Finserv and HCL Tech were among top gainers during the day, while Power Grid, JSW Steel, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Auto and L&T ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 169.51 points up at 59500.41.

Traders piled up positions in Learning & Education, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, NBFC, Industrial Equipment and Paper sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Textiles, Infrastructure, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
