Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd., Generic Engg, Cool Caps Industries Ltd., Rico Auto and Sat Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 37.5 points down at 17858.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Cyber Media Research & Services Ltd., Gland Pharma, Jyoti Structure, Nureca Ltd. and Mangalam Worldwide Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 25 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, UltraTech Cem., L&T, HCL Tech and Cipla were among top gainers during the day, while Divis Labs, RIL, BPCL, Axis Bank and Tata Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 147.47 points down at 59958.03.

Traders piled up positions in Packaging, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Electric/Electronics, Cement and Shipping sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Learning & Education, Textiles, Trading and Plastics sectors during the day.
