Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Generic Engg, Indiabulls Enterprises Ltd., Sky Gold, Trans & Rectif and 3P Land Holdings, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 18.45 points down at 17895.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vikas Proppant & Gr, Jyoti Structure, Laurus Labs, Acrysil and Nureca Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 18 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Sun Pharma, BPCL, UltraTech Cem. and HDFC Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Bharti Airtel, Cipla, Divis Labs, Apollo Hospital and HUL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 9.98 points down at 60105.5.

Traders piled up positions in Packaging, Telecommunications, Metals - Non Ferrous, IT - Hardware and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Learning & Education, Textiles, Trading and FMCG sectors during the day.
