Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Donear Ind, Lambodhara Text, Tainwala Chem, Rama Steel Tubes and Salzer Electro, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 132.7 points down at 17859.45 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as RBM Infracon Ltd., Sumeet Ind, Jyoti Structure, Paras Petrofils and Transwarr Fin(PP), touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 10 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Britannia, M&M, RIL, BPCL and ONGC were among top gainers during the day, while TCS, JSW Steel, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv and Tech Mahindra ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 452.9 points down at 59900.37.

Traders piled up positions in Cables, Rubber, Consumer Durables, Gas & Petroleum and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Learning & Education, Textiles, Trading and Fertilisers sectors during the day.
