Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Jindal Worldwide, Integrated Personnel Services Ltd., Tirupati Forge, Goldstar Power and Arvee Laboratories, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 186.2 points down at 18199.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Jakharia Fabric, KCK Industries Ltd., Viviana Power Tech Ltd., Arshiya and Nandan Denim, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 14 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 36 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, Apollo Hospital, Cipla, Sun Pharma and HCL Tech were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv and UltraTech Cem. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 635.05 points down at 61067.24.

Traders piled up positions in Hospitals & Allied Services, Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunications, ReIT and InvIT sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, Services, NBFC, IT Enabled Services and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
