Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of FACT, Rajshree Sugars, Madras Fert, Sakthi Sugars and Ugar Sugar Work, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 145.9 points down at 18269.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Cerebra Integrat, Sanwaria Consumer, Indiabulls Intgrtd, Coastal Corp(PP)and Sintex Inds., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 5 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, HUL, Tata Steel and JSW Steel were among top gainers during the day, while Dr. Reddys, M&M, Adani Ports SEZ, Asian Paints and BPCL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 461.22 points down at 61337.81.

Traders piled up positions in Sugar, Telecommunications, Cables, Packaging and Fertilisers sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, Services, IT Enabled Services, NBFC and Glass sectors during the day.
