Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

UCO Bank, Indbank Merc, Central Bank, Dhanlaxmi Bank and IOB, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Shares of UCO Bank, Indbank Merc, Central Bank, Dhanlaxmi Bank and IOB, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 110.85 points up at 18608.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Cerebra Integrat, Sanwaria Consumer, Amiable Logistic(India)Ltd., DJ Mediaprint & Logi and Pritika Engineering Components Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, HCL Tech and M&M were among top gainers during the day, while Apollo Hospital, Hindalco, BPCL, UPL and Nestle India ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 402.73 points up at 62533.3.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Banks, Logistics and Financial Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT Enabled Services, Services, Learning & Education, NBFC and Glass sectors during the day.
