Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Global Health Ltd., HUDCO, Atul Auto, Kirloskar Oil and Dhampur Bio Organics Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 6.25 points up at 18409.65 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Sadbhav Infra, Ashapura Mine, Quadpro ITeS Ltd., Coastal Corp(PP)and Ksolves India, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 20 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Kotak Bank, Coal India Ltd, Dr. Reddys, HDFC Bank and HUL were among top gainers during the day, while Apollo Hospital, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Hindalco and JSW Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 107.73 points up at 61980.72.

Traders piled up positions in IT - Hardware, Metals - Non Ferrous, Industrial Equipment, Sugar and Defence sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, NBFC, Services, Glass and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
