Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Karnataka Bank, NDR Auto Components, Silly Monks Entertai, Rainbow Childrens Medicare Ltd. and DC Infotech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 64.45 points up at 18117.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Coastal Corp(PP), Rama Phosphates, Dhanuka Realty, SREI Infra Fin and Rel Capital, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Hindalco, Bajaj Finserv, Adani Ports SEZ and JSW Steel were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Cipla, Dr. Reddys, BPCL and HDFC Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 113.95 points up at 60950.36.

Traders piled up positions in IT - Hardware, Rubber, Sugar, Metals - Non Ferrous and Defence sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, NBFC, Glass, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors during the day.
