Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Tourism Finance, Wealth First Port, Varanium Cloud Ltd., Jay Jalaram Technologies Ltd. and Orbit Exports, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 49.85 points up at 17786.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Oriental Trimex, FSN E-Comm(Nykaa), Tracxn Technologies Ltd., Cyber Media Research & Services Ltd. and Phantom Digital Effects Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, RIL, Apollo Hospital, NTPC and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, Grasim Inds., Sun Pharma and Divis Labs ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 203.01 points up at 59959.85.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Auto, Hospitals & Allied Services, Airlines and Diversified sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, NBFC, Glass, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors during the day.
