Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Nalwa Sons Invst, Bharat Bijlee, SJVN, IIFL Finance and Trans & Rectif, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

Nifty moved in a tight range of 82 points, and ended slightly below the psychologically crucial level of 15,700.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Nalwa Sons Invst, Bharat Bijlee, SJVN, IIFL Finance and Trans & Rectif, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 80.6 points up at 17736.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as NMDC, Gland Pharma, Precot Meridian, FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)and Sigma Solve, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Adani Ports SEZ and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto and Nestle India ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 212.88 points up at 59756.84.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Metals - Ferrous, Paper, Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors, while selling was witnessed in NBFC, Learning & Education, Glass, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors during the day.
