Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Satin Creditcare, Jay Jalaram Technologies Ltd., Electronics Mart India Ltd., Data Patterns(India)Ltd. and Best Agrolife, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 175.15 points up at 17486.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Motherson Sumi, Omkar Speciality, Penta Gold, Akshar Spintex and C&C Construct, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 40 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI, Adani Ports SEZ, Eicher Motors, Nestle India and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while NTPC, HDFC, Bajaj Auto, Tech Mahindra and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 549.62 points up at 58960.6.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Defence, Rubber, Shipping and Trading sectors, while selling was witnessed in NBFC, Glass, Miscellaneous, IT Enabled Services and Term Lending Institutions sectors during the day.
