Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of GRSE, Axita Cotton, Apollo Sindoori, De Nora India and Sakar Healthcare, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 73.65 points down at 17241.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Ishan International Ltd., Akshar Spintex, Tips Films Ltd., Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd. and Reliance Comm, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 16 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, TCS, HDFC Life, Maruti Suzuki and Eicher Motors were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Motors, Tata Consumer, Hero MotoCorp, Asian Paints and ITC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 200.18 points down at 57991.11.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Paper, Glass, Agro Processing and IT Software sectors, while selling was witnessed in NBFC, Miscellaneous, IT Enabled Services, Term Lending Institutions and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors during the day.
