Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Macpower CNC Machine, Upsurge Seeds of Agriculture Ltd., D P Wires, Lancer Container Lin and McLeod Russel, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 194.0 points up at 17816.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Dynemic Product(PP), Debock Sales & Mktg, MEP Infrastructure, Sathavahana Isp and FutureLifestyleFash, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 44 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Eicher Motors and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Nestle India, Shree Cements, Grasim Inds., Power Grid and Infosys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 578.51 points up at 59719.74.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Electric/Electronics, Airlines, Agro Processing and Sugar sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Metals - Ferrous, NBFC, Miscellaneous and Term Lending Institutions sectors during the day.
