Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of SKM Egg Prod, Celebrity Fash, Jai Corp, Macpower CNC Machine and Sakthi Sugars, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 126.35 points up at 17665.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Mangalam Worldwide Ltd., InvstmntTrstofIndia, FutureLifestyleFash, Bombay Rayon and Atal Realtech, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, JSW Steel, ITC, Sun Pharma and NTPC were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Auto, Nestle India, Britannia, UltraTech Cem. and Apollo Hospital ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 442.65 points up at 59245.98.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Agro Processing, Industrial Equipment, Cables and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Miscellaneous, Term Lending Institutions, Petrochemicals and Gas & Petroleum sectors during the day.
