Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Total Transport Sys, SKP Bearing Industries Ltd., Rachana Infrastructure Ltd., Time Technoplast and Lumax Auto Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 82.5 points down at 17522.45 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Manav Infra Projects, Veekayem Fashion & Apparels Ltd., GVK Power Infra, Gujarat Apollo and IMP Powers Ltd, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 17 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Shree Cements, Divis Labs, Hindalco, Eicher Motors and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ports SEZ, Bajaj Finance, Power Grid, Infosys and NTPC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 310.71 points down at 58774.72.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Beverages - Alcoholic, Learning & Education, Tea / Coffee and Real Estate sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Term Lending Institutions, Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries and Pharmaceuticals sectors during the day.
