Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Navneet Education, Wonderla Holidays, KEI Industries, Fineotex Chem and Varun Beverages, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 6.15 points down at 17382.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Future Retail, Birla Tyres, Melstar Info, Debock Sales & Mktg and Future Enterprises, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 31 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Nestle India, Sun Pharma, Infosys and Apollo Hospital were among top gainers during the day, while NTPC, Tata Consumer, Coal India Ltd, SBI and RIL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 51.73 points down at 58298.80.

Traders piled up positions in IT - Hardware, Cables, Glass, Telecommunications and Fertilisers sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Auto Ancillaries, Gas & Petroleum, Logistics and Learning & Education sectors during the day.
