Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dangee Dums, Campus Activewear Ltd., Fidel Softech Ltd., Astra Microwave and International Constructions Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 287.8 points up at 16929.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as IMP Powers Ltd, Aakash Exploration, Spicejet, GSK Pharma and Bajaj Hindusthan Su, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 39 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Steel, Kotak Bank and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Shree Cements, Bharti Airtel, UltraTech Cem., Cipla and Bajaj Auto ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1041.47 points up at 56857.79.

Traders piled up positions in NBFC, Holding Company, Airlines, Retail and IT Software sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries, Learning & Education and Pharmaceuticals sectors during the day.
