Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Pitti Engineering, Shoppers Stop, Archidply Ind, Sree Rayalaseema and Coromandel Int., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 157.95 points up at 16641.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Tanla Solutions, IMP Powers Ltd, Future Retail, KCK Industries Ltd. and Bajaj Hindusthan Su, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 41 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 9 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, SBI, Divis Labs, L&T and Asian Paints were among top gainers during the day, while Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, UPL and Kotak Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 547.83 points up at 55816.32.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Rubber, Paper, Defence and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was witnessed in Beverages - Alcoholic, Auto Ancillaries, Gas & Petroleum, Packaging and Aquaculture sectors during the day.
