Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Archidply Ind, eMudhra Ltd., Kirloskar Elec, Paradeep Phosphates Ltd. and Hardwyn India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 147.15 points down at 16483.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Tanla Solutions, Zomato Ltd., P E Analytics Ltd., Gayatri Project and Future Retail, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 13 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, JSW Steel, Grasim Inds., Bharti Airtel and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers during the day, while Infosys, HUL, Axis Bank, Dr. Reddys and Bajaj Auto ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 497.73 points down at 55268.49.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, IT - Hardware, Learning & Education, Media & Entertainment and Petrochemicals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Auto Ancillaries, Gas & Petroleum, Services, Pharmaceuticals and Aquaculture sectors during the day.
