Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Manorama Ind, Tube Investments, Crown Lifters, Steel Cast and Meghmani Finechem Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 62.05 points up at 16340.55 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as DRC Systems India Ltd., Radha Madhav, NGL Fine Chem, Vikas Proppant & Gr and Aakash Exploration, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 32 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, M&M, Apollo Hospital and UltraTech Cem. were among top gainers during the day, while ONGC, Nestle India, HDFC Life, HCL Tech and Tata Consumer ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 246.47 points up at 54767.62.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Real Estate, Consumer Durables, Paper and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Media & Entertainment, Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries and Pharmaceuticals sectors during the day.
