Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of FIEM Industries, Superhouse Ltd, PSP Projects, Aether Industries Ltd. and Lumax Auto Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 229.3 points up at 16278.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vikas Proppant & Gr, Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd., Suumaya Lifestyle, Karda Const and Bombay Rayon, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 42 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers during the day, while Britannia, Dr. Reddys, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki and M&M ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 760.37 points up at 54521.15.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Paper, Metals - Non Ferrous, Textiles and Defence sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Media & Entertainment, Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries and Pharmaceuticals sectors during the day.
