Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Spacenet Enterprise, Butterfly Gandhi, PC Jeweller, GRP Ltd and International Constructions Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 28.0 points down at 15938.65 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Arrow Greentech, Birlasoft, Suumaya Lifestyle, Sintex Plastics Tech and Electrotherm, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 19 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, ONGC, Dr. Reddys, Kotak Bank and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Axis Bank, HCL Tech, SBI and Tech Mahindra ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 98.0 points down at 53416.15.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Metals - Non Ferrous, Beverages - Alcoholic, Airlines and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Media & Entertainment, IT - Hardware, Auto Ancillaries and Cables sectors during the day.
