Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of GRP Ltd, TCPL Packaging, Hubtown Ltd, Spacenet Enterprise and Hardwyn India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 91.65 points down at 15966.65 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Foods & Inns, Vikas Proppant & Gr, Suumaya Lifestyle, Sintex Plastics Tech and MIC Electronics, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, JSW Steel, HUL, Cipla and Asian Paints were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, Bharti Airtel, HDFC, HDFC Bank and RIL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 372.46 points down at 53514.15.

Traders piled up positions in Airlines, Petrochemicals, Telecommunications, Paper and IT Enabled Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, Gas & Petroleum and Auto Ancillaries sectors during the day.
