Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of TCPL Packaging, Arman Financial, Uravi T and Wedge, Monte Carlo Fashion and Astec Lifesc, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 87.7 points up at 16220.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Andhra Cements, Parsvnath Dev., Vikas Proppant & Gr, Viceroy Hotels and Future Consumer, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 34 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, L&T, Power Grid, Tata Motors, NTPC and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers during the day, while HDFC Life, ONGC, Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki and JSW Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 303.38 points up at 54481.84.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Construction, Sugar, Retail and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Pharmaceuticals, Media & Entertainment and Gas & Petroleum sectors during the day.
