Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of AAA Technologies, Orient Bell, Silver Touch Tech, Imagicaaworld Entert and Globe Intl. Carriers, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 24.5 points down at 15810.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Andhra Cements, Vipul Ltd, Ibull Housing Fin, Viceroy Hotels and Anjani Portland, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 22 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, Shree Cements, Hindalco, Apollo Hospital and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers during the day, while ITC, HDFC Life, Wipro, Britannia and Maruti Suzuki ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 100.42 points down at 53134.35.

Traders piled up positions in Retail, Telecommunications, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Trading and Learning & Education sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, Gas & Petroleum and Rubber sectors during the day.
