Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Manorama Ind, Akshar Spintex, Imagicaaworld Entert, Global Education and Globesecure Technologies Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 28.2 points down at 15752.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Parag Milk Foods, HEC Infra Projects, Andhra Cements, Parsvnath Dev. and Ajooni Biotech Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 38 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ITC, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Cipla and Britannia were among top gainers during the day, while ONGC, RIL, Power Grid, Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 111.01 points down at 52907.93.

Traders piled up positions in Tobacco, Beverages - Alcoholic, Airlines, Telecommunications and NBFC sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Gas & Petroleum, Diversified and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
