Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Regency Ceramic, Rachana Infrastructure Ltd., Globe Intl. Carriers, Kohinoor Foods and Globesecure Technologies Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 225.5 points down at 15413.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Dhanvarsha Finvest, Emmbi Industries, Shreyans Ind, Rollatainers Ltd and Spicejet, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 5 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Hero MotoCorp, TCS, Power Grid and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, UPL, Tata Steel, JSW Steel and Wipro ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 709.54 points down at 51822.53.

Traders piled up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Telecommunications, Airlines, Logistics and Leather sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
