Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

KPI Global Infra, Priti International, Mirza Intnl, Standard Ind and Globe Intl. Carriers, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of KPI Global Infra, Priti International, Mirza Intnl, Standard Ind and Globe Intl. Carriers, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 39.95 points down at 15692.15 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Sadbhav Eng, PTC India, Uniinfo Telecom Serv, Tata Comm and Ibull Real Estate, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finance, Hero MotoCorp and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Steel, ONGC, NTPC, Wipro and Infosys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 152.18 points down at 52541.39.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Irrigation & Allied Services, NBFC, Glass and Auto sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
