Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Marathon Nextgen, Tree House Edu, Dynacons Sys, KPI Global Infra and Bombay Metrics Supply Chain Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 276.3 points down at 16201.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Kriti Ind, SoftTech Engineers, Tembo Global Indust, Indo Nat Ltd and Kaya, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 16 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Grasim Inds., Apollo Hospital, Asian Paints, Dr. Reddys and Divis Labs were among top gainers during the day, while Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finance, HDFC, Hindalco and RIL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1016.84 points down at 54303.44.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Petrochemicals, Rubber and Airlines sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Miscellaneous and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
