Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Raymond, Elecon Engg Co, Mahindra Lifespace, Lemon Tree Hotels and Fine Organic Ind., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 105.25 points up at 16628.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Debock Sales & Mktg, Medico Remedies, Gujarat Lease, Future Retail and Shyam Telecom, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, Bajaj Finserv, Sun Pharma, HCL Tech and TCS were among top gainers during the day, while Apollo Hospital, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, HDFC and Power Grid ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 436.94 points up at 55818.11.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Glass, Industrial Equipment, Textiles and Diversified sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
