Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Timken India, HBL Power, Rolex Rings, Raymond and Wendt India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 61.8 points down at 16522.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Kriti Ind, AB Cotspin India Ltd., Medico Remedies, Debock Sales & Mktg and Future Retail, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 17 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, Coal India Ltd, HDFC Life, M&M and HDFC were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Auto, Apollo Hospital, Tech Mahindra, Hindalco and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 185.24 points down at 55381.17.

Traders piled up positions in Rubber, Defence, Miscellaneous, Cables and Industrial Consumables sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Power sectors during the day.
