Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Kritika Wires, Ruby Mills, Gokaldas Export, Vadilal Ind and De Nora India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kritika Wires, Ruby Mills, Gokaldas Export, Vadilal Ind and De Nora India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 33.45 points down at 17069.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Solara Active Pharma, Future Market, Zee Learn, Innovative Tyres & T and IRIS Business Servic, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 20 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Coal India Ltd, Tata Steel, Power Grid and HDFC were among top gainers during the day, while Apollo Hospital, Eicher Motors, Titan Company, Bajaj Auto and Wipro ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 84.88 points down at 56975.99.

Traders piled up positions in Rubber, Telecommunications, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Industrial Equipment and Holding Company sectors, while selling was witnessed in Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment, Learning & Education and Tyres sectors during the day.
